Scholarships English description: The aim of the PhD research project is to systematically assess the possible reaction paths and to develop web-based model for prediction of transformation products that can form micropollutants during ozonation of drinking water or wastewater. Model UM-PPS is currently applied in the prediction of biotransformation products micropollutants will be used as a basis for chemistry model set-ups.Scholarships English Known reaction mechanism will be established, and then combined with the kinetic parameters.Scholarships English To assess the reaction mechanism is not known, laboratory-based experiments will be conducted, possibly in combination with quantum mechanical calculations. Web-based model will be developed for use in the practice of science and water treatment to predict the transformation of products that appear organic micropollutants during oxidative water treatment.
